Program Overview
Driftwood Middle School is a Broward County Schools Magnet of The Frank C. Campana Academy of Health and Wellness. Our mission is to empower students using high-quality 21st-century instruction to provide a curriculum that is integrated with problem-solving techniques, project-based learning, and exercise strategies to minimize stress and improve interpersonal skills. The unique magnet curriculum addresses the seven dimensions of wellness (physical, mental, emotional, environmental, social, spiritual, and occupational) to ensure student success in all facets of their lives. Our award-winning curriculum promotes higher-order thinking through problem-solving, the demonstration of positive choices, environmental stewardship, and the development of strong interpersonal skills. Driftwood Middle has been the recipient of numerous local, national, and international awards. The curriculum is designed to ensure all students develop a positive, happy, and healthy lifestyle.
